Asuras
In Puranic taxonomy, Asura is an umbrella for the lineages of Diti (Daityas) and Danu (Danavas). Rakshasas are a separate race (Pulastya → Ravana) and are not merged here. This hub shows both Asura houses side by side; dive into Daityas or Danavas for the dedicated spines.

Frequently asked
Are Daityas, Danavas and Rakshasas the same?
No. Daityas are children of Diti; Danavas of Danu; Rakshasas (e.g. Ravana) descend from Pulastya through Vishravas. Divine keeps three separate modules so the trees are never mixed.
Where is Prahlada / Bali / Ravana?
Prahlada and Bali are under Daityas (and this Asuras hub). Ravana is under Rakshasas, not Asuras.
